Refuge has a manager for part of the year
Situated beside Certascan lake, one of the largest lakes in the Pyrenees, in the heart of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the refuge dates back to 1975. Certascan is located in an exceptionally beautiful area, far from the more frequented routes of the Pyrenees. This refuge also marks the end of one of the stages of La Porta del Cel, one of the most demanding and spectacular hikes in the massif.Technical spec.:
